About the role
LearnSphere sells university-partnered online degree and certification programmes, and every counselor works only on inbound leads — people who filled a form themselves, never cold data. This is a fresher-friendly batch of 12 with a two-week paid training covering programmes, fee structures, and counselling technique before you take your first call. Fixed CTC of ₹3.5–4.2 lakh plus incentives that take consistent performers to ₹5.5 lakh; the top counselor last quarter earned ₹92,000 in a single month.
Key responsibilities
- Counsel 25–30 inbound leads daily over calls and WhatsApp on programme fit and outcomes
- Convert qualified leads to enrolments with a target of 12–15 admissions a month
- Maintain the CRM pipeline with honest stage updates and next-action dates
- Run scheduled video counselling sessions for working professionals in evening slots
- Coordinate with the finance desk on loan and EMI options for fee payment
- Share ground-level lead-quality feedback with the marketing team every Friday
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; freshers with strong communication are encouraged
- Fluent Hindi and confident conversational English
- A genuine ability to listen first and recommend second — this is counselling, not scripts
- Comfort with targets, reviews, and a six-day week (Tuesday off)
- Own laptop not required; all systems are provided at the Sector 62 office
Nice to have
- Internship or up to 2 years in edtech, insurance, or telecalling sales
- Familiarity with CRM tools like LeadSquared or Zoho
- Regional language ability — Telugu, Tamil, or Bengali — for matched lead routing
