Who we are

This policy is issued by GetJob India Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (“GetJob India”, “we”, “us”), a recruitment consultancy with its head office at Office No. 207, 1st Floor, Vertex Vikas Building, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400069, Maharashtra, India. It explains what personal data we collect through getjobindia.com and our consulting services, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

When you register as a candidate or apply for a role, we collect the information you provide, including:

• Your resume or CV and the details within it
• Contact details — name, email address, phone number and city
• Work history, education, skills and certifications
• Current and expected CTC, notice period and preferred locations

From employers, we collect the business contact details of hiring representatives, company information and role requirements needed to run a search mandate.

How we use your data

• To match your profile against live openings with our client employers
• To share your profile with prospective employers — only with your consent, taken before each submission
• To communicate with you about applications, interviews and our services by phone, email or WhatsApp
• To maintain records, improve our matching and meet legal obligations

Legal basis and consent

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you register, submit a resume or engage our services, and where processing is required to perform those services or comply with law. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; we will stop the related processing except where retention is legally required.

Who we share it with

We share candidate profiles with client employers considering you for a role, and limited data with service providers (such as hosting and communication platforms) who process it under contract on our instructions. We never sell your personal data, and we never share it for third-party marketing.

How long we keep it

We retain candidate data for 24 months from your last interaction with us so we can consider you for future roles, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or updated
• Request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
• Raise a grievance with us and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies: those essential for the site to function, and basic analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. You can block cookies through your browser settings without losing access to our core pages.
