About the role
SwiftHaul moves 2,200 truckloads a week for FMCG and e-commerce clients in eastern India, and the analytics cell in Kolkata is where routing, pricing, and network decisions get made. This analyst role feeds directly into weekly operating reviews with the COO, so your models change what happens on the road within days. The team works three days from the Salt Lake office and two from home.

- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for on-time performance, vehicle utilisation, and detention
- Model hub-and-spoke alternatives for the eastern network and quantify the savings case
- Run monthly client-profitability reviews combining billing, fuel, and toll data in SQL

- Audit proof-of-delivery and detention data to recover leaked billing worth ₹8–10 lakh a month
Requirements

- Confident SQL — joins, aggregations, and window functions on transaction tables
- Power BI or Tableau dashboards you built yourself and can walk through in the interview
- Understanding of trucking economics: per-km cost, fuel norms, detention, and return loads
- Structured communication — your one-page summaries get read by people who decide
Nice to have
- Python for optimisation or forecasting work
- Exposure to TMS platforms and telematics data
- Bengali language ability for vendor conversations
