About the role
GulfBridge is commissioning a 250,000 sq ft multi-client facility in Jebel Ali and is hiring two operations managers from India to run it. The quoted range is the INR equivalent of a tax-free AED salary, and the package includes employment visa, medical insurance, annual flight home, and company-arranged shared accommodation for the first year. Interviews run over video with a final in-person round in Mumbai during the first week of September, and joining is expected within 60 days of offer.
Key responsibilities
- Run daily operations for a 250,000 sq ft facility handling 25,000 order lines a day
- Lead a 140-person team across inbound, putaway, picking, packing, and dispatch shifts
- Own client SLAs: 99.5% inventory accuracy, same-day dispatch cut-offs, and claims below 0.1%
- Drive the WMS go-live for two new client accounts, including SOP writing and UAT
- Control cost per order through manpower productivity and MHE utilisation tracking
- Enforce HSE standards to Dubai municipality and client audit requirements
- Present monthly business reviews to client supply-chain heads
Requirements
- 5–9 years in warehouse operations, with 3+ years managing a site or large shift
- Hands-on WMS experience — Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Infor, or a comparable platform
- Track record of running multi-client or high-SKU-count operations (10,000+ SKUs)
- Comfort managing multinational blue-collar teams with structured briefings
- Valid passport and readiness to relocate to Dubai within 60 days
- Strong spoken English; Hindi/Urdu helps with the floor workforce
Nice to have
- Prior GCC or international warehouse experience
- E-commerce fulfilment background with peak-season scaling
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process certification
