About the role
Trustline Capital underwrites mid-market working-capital loans of ₹1–15 crore, and its Gurugram credit desk assesses roughly 120 proposals a month. As a Credit Analyst you get real decision-making exposure early — analysts here present directly to the credit committee rather than passing notes up a chain. The desk works from the Cyber City office five days a week with a 9:30 to 6:30 schedule that is genuinely respected.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare credit appraisal memos covering business model, financials, and repayment capacity
- Analyse three years of audited financials, GST returns, and 12-month banking statements
- Build borrower-level cash-flow models and stress-test them for rate and revenue shocks
- Interpret CIBIL and CRIF reports and reconcile discrepancies with the borrower
- Present proposals to the credit committee and defend your recommendation
- Track post-disbursement covenants and flag early-warning signals each quarter
- Conduct personal discussions with promoters alongside the relationship team
Requirements
- 2–5 years in credit underwriting at a bank, NBFC, or rating agency
- Ability to spot window dressing in financial statements and question it credibly
- Command over Excel — pivot tables, lookups, and scenario sheets without help
- Clear written English for memos that a committee can act on in one reading
- Working knowledge of MSME lending norms and RBI guidelines on income recognition
Nice to have
- Experience with supply-chain finance or invoice discounting products
- Familiarity with Probe42, Tofler, or similar corporate data platforms
- Progress toward CFA or FRM
